Al Kasha, author, lyricist, and producer of more successes than we can count is shown here with the two oscars he and co-author Joel Hirschorn were awarded for their hit song and best original songs for "The Poseidon Adventure" and "Towering Inferno". Maureen McGovern sang the hit recording of'" The Morning After".
Bob's first recordings at Columbia records were produced by Mr. Kasha. They collaborated on songs and remain friends, keeping in touch by email on a regular basis.

Seated here at the 1982 Grammy Awards dinner is friend, advisor and confidante Harriet Wasser, known to her friends as "Hesh".
Ms. Wasser was instrumental in spreading the word, so to speak, of the many talents of Bobby Darin, Producer and Artist Bob Crewe and Bob Halley.
Our eternal thanks go to Ms. Wasser for her indispensible contributions to the many other artists and musicians she helped along the way.
We will miss her greatly.
"'Hesh" was active on the Broadway music scene working with new jazz vocalist, Steve Brill, when she took ill, was hospitlaized and eventually succumbed to her illness.
We will miss Ms. Wasser more than words can say.
